A small very attractive tree with arching branches and pendulous branchlets. Young leaves open bronze-green then turn green in summer. 1.5 inch (4cm) wide double, clear deep pink flowers clothe the branches in a magnificent display in March or April. TREE 15ft x 15ft (4.6m x 4.6m) in 20 years, ultimate height 20ft (6m).
