	Algarde Biofoam 200 Algarde Biofoam 200 is powerful and adaptable for all sizes of aquariums. It is a highly efficient biological filter that produces crystal clear water. Filtration is achieved in two ways. Firstly, the powerful airlift draws the water through the Biofoam element and organic debris in the water adheres to the surface. Secondly, whilst the larger particles remain on the outer surface, smaller particles are drawn into the pores of the Biofoam element where bacteria break them down by biological action and render them harmless.
