Summer flowers on Rose pendulina

Very hardy old variety with single deep cerise flowers with pronounced yellow stamens in summer followed by attractive bottle-shaped orange-red hips. The purple stems are often thorn free. Tolerant of poor soil and thrives in sun or shade. Makes an excellent deciduous low rose hedge. HEDGE Trim in winter if necessary. For hedges 2-3ft (60-90cm). Plant 12ins (30cm) apart. SHRUB 3ft x 3ft (90 x 90cm).
