Bush/Basket (Determinate). An exceptionally sweet cherry variety with the exciting attribute of being able to trail when grown as a basket plant, one plant filling a 30cm (12in) basket with ease. Extremely decorative as well as productive. For indoor and outdoor cropping sow spring, 5-7 weeks before planting out date. Requires no side shooting. Crops in 70 Days. Sowing Instructions. Germinate at 20-30C (68-86F) on the surface of a good free draining, damp seed compost. Apply a layer of compost or vermiculite, 6mm (¼in) deep. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 7-14 days. Growing Instructions. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots and grow on in cooler, well lit conditions. FOR PLANTING OUTSIDE - For growing as a bush, plant 60cm (24in) apart in moist, well-drained, fertile soil in a sunny position. FOR HANGING BASKETS Plant one per 30cm (12in) basket. Water well and keep in a cool position until well rooted. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions before hanging outside permanently after all risk of frost. Aftercare Instructions.
