A dual purpose onion that resists bulbing up enabling it to be pulled for a longer period than regular varieties. Excellent overwintering qualities, can be sown either late August for late May pulling or in spring and summer for summer/autumn crops. Crops in 60 Days.
Sowing Instructions. Spring onions will grow in any good fertile soil provided it is welt drained. Sow from late winter to late summer at 3 weekly intervals. For an early spring crop sow in late summer and overwinter. Sow thinly 6mm (¼in) deep in drills 15cm (6in) apart.
Growing Instructions. No thinning is required. Harvesting can usually start 6-8 weeks after sowing.
