Makes extra-large, solid heads, is very early for a Savoy, yet will stand for many weeks without splitting or rotting even under extremely cold conditions.
Sowing Instructions. Sow late winter to mid spring in a specially prepared seed bed or coldframe (for late winter) or for most reliable germination in seed boxes in heat. Sow very thinly 1cm (½in) deep in 15cm (6in) wide rows.
Growing Instructions. Transplant during late spring/early summer, into a sunny site 46x46cm (18x18in) apart.
Aftercare Instructions. The soil should be well drained, with some humus, and firm not recently dug.
