Six separate very distinctly veined and contrasting varieties formula mixed. From silvery pastel pink through to deepest orchid purple. The blooms are ruffled, very large and weather resistant. Excellent for bedding, windowboxes, tubs, hanging baskets and pot plants. Flowers summer to first frost. Height 23-30cm (9-12in). Sowing Instructions. Sow late winter to mid spring at 21-27C (70-80F) on the surface of a good seed compost, and gently firm down. Keep damp but not wet. Do not exclude light, sealing in a polythene bag after sowing is helpful. Germination usually takes 10-21 days. Growing Instructions. When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant and grow on in cooler conditions. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost, 30cm (12in) apart in a sunny spot on light well drained soil. For pot plants, transplant seedlings into 7.5cm (3in) pots, grow cool, well ventilated, give plenty of light, but shade from direct sun. Flowering Period. Summer
