Excellent variety. Medium sized fruit of superb flavour, with smooth pale green skin which turns to pale yellow when ripe. The flesh is white and juicy. High yields. Ideal garden pear suitable throughout the United Kingdom. Raised in East Malling Kent in 1938, but not named or released until 1974.
