The
Lillevilla range is designed for quick and easy assembly.
The cabins are supplied with all fixings needed for installation.
Full instructions are provided along with a detailed parts
list. Around 80% of people who buy a Lillevilla cabin erect
it themselves. However, we can provide an installation service
if you require it.
1: Foundation preparation is an essential
part of getting the cabin to fit correctly. A level
base is essential. A concrete slab or paving slabs which
have been bedded with concrete are recommended bases.
2: Cabins are provided with treated
foundation beams for the cabin to sit on. We recommend
that a moisture barrier is in place between the foundation
and the beams to stop moisture penetration.
3: The accurately machined logs create
a perfect fit which enables quick installation of the
wall logs.
4: Windows and doors are pre-hung
in their frames which means no adjustments are needed
on site. The windows and doors are designed to drop
into place once the required number of logs is reached.
5: Pre-assembled gables are installed
which are ready notched to take the roof purlins. Storm
rods or corner bolts, depending on the model, can now
be installed and hand tightened.
6: The roof boards are installed
next, starting from the front of the cabin. The roofing
option can now be fitted and fascia boards installed.
7: The flooring can now be laid starting
from the front of the cabin. Skirting adds the finishing
touch to the floor.
8: Finally the terrace walls are
installed and decking is fixed. The cabin is now ready
for treating.
